Different Ways to Give

Cash Gifts: If you itemize on your tax returns, your gift to the Capuchins will allow you to receive a full charitable income tax deduction. You may give on-line. For checks, wills, and estates our legal title is:

Securities: If you have stock that has earned long-term capital gains, your gift to the Capuchins will help you avoid a substantial capital gains tax while still benefiting the Capuchin ministries of our Province.

Remember the Capuchins in a Bequest: As you provide for your loved ones in your will, you may also wish to leave an additional amount for your charitable interests.  You may name a specific amount, a percentage of your estate, or “what’s left” (the remainder or residual). 

Capuchin Charitable Gift Annuity: If you are over the age of 55 and would like to provide for a guaranteed income for life with no investment responsibilities, you may wish to partner with Capuchins and their ministries with the establishments of a Charitable Gift Annuity.  Payments to you are based on your age, the date of you gift and a payment to your beneficiary, if you so desire.  Contact the Capuchin Development Center if you would like to discuss this type of gift and/or receive a proposal with more details. 

A Gift of Life Insurance: When you name the Capuchins as the beneficiary of your life insurance (or as a co-beneficiary), you can make a wonderful gift by making modest insurance premium payments during your lifetime.

Set Up A Charitable Trust: If your consultation with a professional planner (attorney, banker, accountant, tax advisor, financial planner, investment advisor or representative of a charitable interest) suggests that your financial security will be maintained by setting up a trust agreement and you wish to help with the future needs of the Capuchins, you may contact Capuchin Development Office

Make Your Gift Online: All gifts will be considered “unrestricted” gifts, allowing us to use them where the need is greatest, unless you tell us otherwise.

You may also make a gift in memory of an individual or to honor a special occasion, birthday or anniversary. Simply indicate whom you would like us to send the “tribute announcement” and for what occasion. Please remember to supply the address.

How You Can Help/Gift Options: There are many ways to support the work of the Capuchins and its ministries.  Charitable donations are truly the foundation of the work of the Church and Our Lady of Angels Province continues to be blessed with generous benefactors.
